Youth
Youth in subsidized housing have access to opportunities designed to help them be healthy, stay in school, increase academic success and go to college.
HACA and numerous other local community partners support the Youth Educational Success (YES) and Austin Pathways Scholars initiatives.

Adults who live in public housing and those who participate in the Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) program often require supportive services to achieve independence.
HACA and local community partners provide Resident Opportunities for Self-Sufficiency, Family Self-Sufficiency and Workforce Development.

Programs for seniors and persons with disabilities in subsidized housing focus on helping Austin’s most vulnerable individuals maintain housing and dignity.
