Thank You For All The Support!

Austin Pathways is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that promotes the education and general welfare of low-income Austinites in subsidized housing programs.
We serve families from the 18 housing communities owned and operated by the Housing Authority of the City of Austin (HACA) and those who participate in the Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) program.
About half of Austin’s public housing residents and HCV participants are low-income children who participate in our Youth Educational Success program.

HACA’s housing programs provide a critical safety net and help families find stable housing. Once housed, families can work toward economic independence.

Subsidized housing programs help seniors and persons with disabilities maintain safe, affordable housing and avoid institutionalization.
Each year the we provide renewable scholarships to eligible subsidized housing residents pursuing opportunities in higher education. Since 2001, we’ve awarded more than 400 scholarships totaling over $1 million.
