Mission Statement
‘Family Self Sufficiency’ is our theme as we help low-income families and individuals in affordable housing achieve their goals-education, jobs, and ultimately leaving subsidized housing so that the Housing Authority of the City of Austin can assist the next worthy family who cannot afford market-rate housing. Austin Pathways is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that promotes the education and general welfare of low-income Austinites in subsidized housing programs, specifically those who live in the 18 public housing communities owned and operated by the Housing Authority of the City of Austin (HACA) and those who participate in its Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) program.
