Austin Pathways is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that promotes the education and general welfare of low-income Austinites in subsidized housing programs, specifically those who live in the 18 housing communities owned and operated by the Housing Authority of the City of Austin (HACA) and those who participate in its Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) program.

Each year the Austin Pathways Scholars program provides renewable scholarships to eligible residents of HACA public housing and HCV program pursuing post-secondary educational opportunities. Since 2001, more than 400 renewable scholarships have been awarded to 265 individuals.
